Concurrent Degrees
Concurrent programs allow you to pursue two degree programs simultaneously at the UW, resulting in completion of the requirements for either two graduate degrees or a graduate and a professional degree. Below you will find five concurrent degrees in the Department of Epidemiology that enable you to proceed in a coordinated way toward completion of the degree programs. You should consult with representatives from all programs involved prior to submitting a concurrent degree application.
MS with Molecular and Cellular Biology (MCB)
Prepare for a career conducting interdisciplinary research and translating your findings in the laboratory to clinical and population-based settings
MPH/MS/PhD with Doctor of Medicine (MD)
Combine your medical training with a degree focused on epidemiologic research methods and principles.
MPH with Master of Arts in International Studies (MAIS)
Combine expertise in epidemiologic methods and practice with a broad framework for the study of international issues and institutions.
MS/MPH with Master of Public Administration (MPA)
Combine expertise in epidemiologic methods and practice with a solid foundation in public policy and administration.
MPH/PhD with Anthropology
Prepare yourself for work in multidisciplinary health settings in the areas of teaching, research, administration, planning, and policy development and implementation.
