Description:

Faculty recruits will be expected to develop an independent program of research to address health disparities and equity in cancer prevention and control.  Relevant areas of interest are open, including community health promotion, mass/digital communication, early detection, psychosocial oncology, survivorship, cancer care delivery, implementation science, global/immigrant health, and health policy; a focus on communities of color, and LGBTQ or other under-represented populations is a priority.

The faculty recruit will participate in activities of DEPH and the Cancer Center, with opportunities for teaching and mentorship. There is a generous start-up package including 3 years of full salary support plus research funds. This role will provide opportunities for diverse research experiences in a highly collegial environment with potential for growth.

The successful candidate will have a PhD or equivalent in a social-behavioral science, public health or related field (e.g., medical anthropology, nursing), strong verbal and written communication skills, relevant research and teaching experience, and record of peer-reviewed publications. Rank will be commensurate with experience.
