Born in the Dominican Republic, I am a medical doctor with a strong focus on cancer epidemiology. My interests encompass molecular epidemiology, cancer prevention, population sciences, cancer registries, and global oncology. I am also dedicated to clinical epidemiology and addressing health disparities, particularly the underrepresentation of Latinx populations in clinical trials.
I have a special interest in the health of Latinx and Caribbean populations, and I am committed to promoting scientific collaboration between Caribbean and Latin American countries. Focus on enhancing health system data and improving evidence-based decision-making.
I am affiliated with the American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) and the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).
