Kelley is a PhD student in the Department of Epidemiology and a Graduate Research Assistant in the Health Promotion Research Center in the Department of Health Systems and Population Health. She received her Master of Social Work (Administration and Policy Practice) and Master of Public Health (Health Services; Graduate Certificate: One Health) from the University of Washington. Her research interests lie at the intersection of nature and human health and include the use of novel greenspace metrics to better understand the etiologic relationship and mechanistic pathways between greenspace and pediatric sleep health. Prior to entering the PhD program, Kelley worked in the Improving Prevention through Action (IMPACT) research lab at Washington State University, where she coordinated seven state and federal grant projects, and contributed to the adaptation, implementation and evaluation of evidence-based universal prevention programming.
