Dr. Wojcik is interested in cancer affecting children and young people, primarily adolescents and young adults (AYAs), defined as persons diagnosed with cancer at 15-39 years of age. She has expertise in conducting population-based, cancer-registry studies of AYA cancer, including melanoma. She is currently examining AYA barriers to cancer-related follow-up care and is also developing an intervention to improve the use of skin self-exams among AYAs at risk of subsequent skin cancer.
