Research Interests
Dr. Heckbert's main research interests are in clinical epidemiology, with emphasis on cardiovascular disease. Her research focuses on cardiac arrhythmias, aging, alterations in brain structure and function, medication effects and drug safety, and genetic associations with cardiovascular disease.
