Chintya is an MPH student in the Department of Epidemiology. She holds a B.Sc. in Public Health, with a focus on Biostatistics, from the University of Indonesia. Before pursuing her studies in Seattle, she worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) Country Office for Indonesia, where she contributed to the Health Emergencies Programme. Her role involved supporting responses to the COVID-19 pandemic, polio outbreak, and other Public Health Emergencies of International Concern (PHEICs). In line with her experience, Chintya’s research interests center on the epidemiology of emerging infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and strategies for pandemic preparedness and response.
