Health Disparities and Social Determinants of Health

Health disparities research seeks to identify and reduce gaps in the quality of health and health care across racial, ethnic, gender, and socioeconomic groups, with particular emphasis on identifying ways to improve the health of traditionally disadvantaged or underserved populations.
