I am happy to advise students and faculty in the use of GIS and open source spatial statistics applications for their research. I am retired from the WA State Department of Health and have a lot of experience working with their databases.

My main interest in public health practice concerns the impact of climate change on wildlife and human health and how they interact. My teaching interests are in developing course materials for using geographic information systems in public health practice and climate change assessment. I am a participant in the Fulbright Specialist Program working as requested in developing countries.
